Duoming Ba
violin
Duoming has been a member of the second violin section since 2003. A native of Beijing China, she came to the US in 1996 to study violin. Duoming was in Almita Vamos and Roland Vamos’s studio at Oberlin Conservatory and graduated from The Curtis institute of Music in 2002 as a student of Joseph Silverstein and Pamela Frank. Before joining the New York Philharmonic, she played two season with the New Jersey Symphony.
Duoming lives in New Jersey with her husband Stephen and two teenage boys. Duoming enjoys playing tennis in the summer and skiing in the winter with family!
